Masaru Seki

He joined SEKIKAIJI Industry CO., LTD. . in 1985. During his first two years with the company, he was seconded to a company in Yokohama, where he gained valuable experience outside the organization and developed a broad understanding of business practices, organizational management, and the foundations of corporate leadership.
After returning, he worked in both field operations and sales, steadily building extensive experience across the company's core business. He was appointed Director in 2000, Executive Vice President in 2002, and assumed the position of President & CEO on May 25, 2004. Since then, he has been responsible for the overall management of the company while maintaining close communication with frontline employees and incorporating their perspectives into business operations.
Recognizing that submarine cable installation demands exceptional technical expertise and sound judgment, he has always believed that the trust of society is built through an unwavering commitment to safety and quality. Guided by this philosophy, he has continued to lead the company with a strong focus on operational excellence and reliability.

Wataru Seki

He began his career in submarine telecommunications cable installation in 2012, joining a specialized cable construction company where he was engaged in cable laying, burial, and repair operations. Through extensive field experience, he built a strong foundation in submarine cable installation and offshore construction.
In 2018, he joined SEKIKAIJI Industry CO., LTD., where he has remained actively involved in frontline operations while expanding his expertise across a wide range of marine construction technologies. His experience covers the operation of specialized equipment, including ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) and Dynamic Positioning Systems (DPS), as well as project management and on-site supervision as a construction manager.
In 2024, he was appointed Senior Managing Director. While overseeing both field operations and corporate management, he has led strategic initiatives to strengthen the company's capabilities, including investments in new construction vessels and advanced ROV systems to support the growing offshore wind industry, as well as the enhancement of internal systems and the development of future talent.
Guided by the pride of supporting critical infrastructure, he is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in every project. Through contributions to island infrastructure and renewable energy development, he strives to build a company that creates lasting value for both customers and employees.

Suguru Seki

He began his career in 2014 with a submarine cable-related company in Yokohama, where he was engaged in transportation operations supporting offshore projects.
In 2017, he joined . and participated in a submarine cable burial project in Taiwan, gaining valuable experience in international marine construction.
In 2021, he contributed to the construction of Japan's first commercial offshore wind farm. Recognizing the significant growth potential of the offshore wind industry, he founded SEKINAKA CO., LTD.. in 2022 and assumed the role of President & CEO.
Since then, he has led the launch and operation of new business initiatives while expanding business networks and developing new commercial opportunities. At the same time, he has remained committed to contributing to local communities through a variety of initiatives.
Guided by the philosophy, "Creating the Next Standard," he continues to embrace new challenges and leverage his extensive field experience to advance the submarine cable industry from a fresh perspective and enhance the value of the industry as a whole.

Junji Horita

After graduating from a local high school in 1996, he joined SEKIKAIJI Industry CO., LTD. He spent his first two years working on the front lines of construction projects, gaining firsthand experience in field operations before transferring to the General Affairs Department.
Drawing on his understanding of on-site operations, he has built a career supporting employees and the organization from behind the scenes. His responsibilities have spanned a wide range of areas, including administration, business development support, labor relations, and human resources, with a strong emphasis on building meaningful relationships both within and outside the company.
He was appointed Director in 2009 and worked alongside the company's fourth-generation President during a period of significant growth and transformation.
In 2022, he assumed the position of Managing Director. Guided by the belief that people are the company's greatest foundation and most valuable asset, he is committed to listening to every employee and fostering trusted relationships with local communities, customers, and business partners. Through this people-centered approach, he strives to support the continued growth of a company that remains valued and trusted by society.

Shota Sasamoto

He joined SEKIKAIJI Industry CO., LTD. in 2004, where he built his career from the ground up in marine construction. He has been involved in numerous offshore projects, including submarine cable installation, gaining extensive hands-on experience in the field.
As a Site Supervisor, he consistently prioritized safety and schedule management, working closely with his team to deliver reliable and high-quality construction. The experience and sound judgment he developed while working in the demanding and unpredictable marine environment have become invaluable assets in his current role.
In 2020, he was appointed General Manager of Marine Division, where he expanded his responsibilities to include construction management and the development of future talent. In 2021, he assumed the position of Director and General Manager of the Vessel Division, overseeing vessel operations and marine construction projects while maintaining a strong field-oriented leadership approach. In the same year, he also participated in the construction of Japan’s first commercial offshore wind farm.
Grateful for the support of the many colleagues who have contributed to his journey, he remains committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability, with the goal of continuing to support Japan’s essential social infrastructure from Awaji Island.

Akihiko Kubota

He joined SEKIKAIJI Industry CO., LTD.. in 2020 as Manager of the Administration Division (now the Corporate Management Division), where he assumed responsibility for accounting and financial operations while establishing key organizational frameworks, including employment regulations and a performance evaluation system.
In 2022, he was appointed Executive Officer, followed by his appointment as Director in 2023. Leveraging his expertise as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he has played a central role in enhancing management decision-making through business planning, cost management, and the improvement of financial accuracy.
In addition to finance, he oversees a broad range of corporate functions, including labor management, the implementation and optimization of internal systems, corporate communications, and the development of administrative structures across the company and its subsidiaries.
Looking ahead, he is committed to accelerating digital transformation (DX) and the adoption of generative AI technologies to strengthen the connection between management and frontline operations, building a resilient management foundation that supports sustainable business growth.
